Nashville, Tenn. (September 10, 2013) - Four-time GRAMMY®-nominated band Newsboys embolden their status as a "force to be reckoned with" on their powerful, pop-heavy 17th career album, Restart, available today, September 10. The band has vowed to "take the music further" than ever before in their career that boasts over eight million albums sold, 30 No. 1 radio hits and five RIAA Gold Certified albums.
Restart is the third studio album with Michael Tait at the helm and combines the pop, worship and rock that fans embraced from the first two albums, Born Again and God's Not Dead. In the nearly four years since Tait joined the band, over 650,000 records have been sold, while five singles have attained No. 1 status on the radio charts.
The catchy beats and purpose-filled lyrics of the lead single "Live With Abandon" have contributed to a steady rise on the radio charts. The single currently stands at No. 11 on the National Christian Audience Chart, No. 6 on the Christian AC Indicator chart and No. 17 on the Christian AC Monitored chart, reaching a total audience of nearly six million.
