Executive Producer of high-grossing inspirational/ Christian films: Fireproof, Facing the Giants and Courageous, authored another book that is worth buying and worth reading for. Along with his books “Fireproof Your Life,” “Prepare for the Rain” and “Courageous Living,” this is another book on living a Victorious and a Deeper Christian Life.Michael divided this book into three sections, with so much of biblical truths plus easy yet profound teachings that will help you stir up yourself.

Catt declares that the chapters of this book were originally birthed in his heart as a sermon on what some call “the Deeper Christian Life,” “the Victorious Christian Life,” and “the Spirit–filled Life.” But he made it clear that this is not a “prosperity gospel book.”

In a technological reference, Upgrade is to improve for increased usefulness, to raise the quality, and this is the message of this book – to raise the quality of your living. Are you living the “upgraded life” which God has designed for you to live and walk in? Is that the quality that you think God has predestined for you? Jesus made it clear in the book of John chapter ten, verse ten [letter b]: “I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly.” It’s the abundance which God wants for you, the fullness of living. “Many Christians have resigned themselves to an “average” Christian life of defeat and monotony,” Michael writes. God is calling you, never settle for less – leave the courts of mediocrity for His greater glory!

To upgrade your Christian living is a great privilege because it is God’s idea for your life, for our lives. To start with very little is ok but to remain little is not of God. He don’t want you to have just the taste of His goodness, He wants you to enjoy it! Never live a life of mediocrity. Do something! Claim your upgrade!

Michael has served as Senior Pastor of Sherwood Baptist Church since 1989. The church has 3,000 members and has averaged one hundred baptisms each year. Thousands have joined the church from Albany and 29 surrounding communities. The church has changed from a neighborhood church to a regional, multi-ethnic congregation with members from eleven nations. Sherwood has three campuses covering 130-plus acres—the main church campus, the lower school campus and the upper school campus.
